Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: Name, email, and profile photo. We do not collect payment details — this version of the App processes no payments.

Wardrobe Photos: All photos of clothing items you upload are stored in your private account.

Usage Data: App interactions, features used, crash reports, device type, OS version, IP address.

Social Data: Instagram import is not available in the current version. If offered later, it will only access data you explicitly authorize.

2. How We Use Your Data

To provide personalized AI recommendations, analyze your wardrobe preferences, send outfit suggestions, process payments, detect fraud, improve the App, and comply with legal obligations.

3. AI Analysis and Third-Party Processing

When AI features are enabled, uploaded photos may be processed by a third-party AI provider to analyze clothing attributes (color, style, category, fit). AI analysis is disabled in the current version — no photos are sent to any AI provider. If we enable it, the provider processes photos transiently and this policy will be updated first.

4. Data Storage and Cloud Infrastructure

Your data is stored on Firebase (Google Cloud Platform) servers in the US. Your photos are encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not intentionally download or store photos on our servers after analysis.

Firebase: User authentication, database, file storage. See google.com/policies/privacy for details.

OpenAI: Image analysis. See openai.com/privacy.

RevenueCat: Premium subscription management. See revenuecat.com/privacy.

Instagram: Optional OAuth for photo import. Instagram may collect data per their privacy policy.

6. Data Retention

Your account data and photos are retained as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we delete your data within 30 days, except where required to retain for legal compliance.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Access: You may view all your data in the App settings.

Export: You may request a copy of your data by contacting support@clothabit.app.

Delete: You may delete your account in Settings. Your account is disabled immediately and all associated data is permanently deleted after a 30-day grace period, during which you can contact us to restore it. After 30 days, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

8. Children's Privacy

Clothabit is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete the data immediately.

9. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS, TLS) to protect your data in transit. However, no method is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and are not liable for unauthorized access despite reasonable precautions.

10. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be posted in the App. Continued use constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification.
